The Namibia Mountain Biking Safari is a 5 night / 6 day camping safari, taking in the wildlife and spectacular desert scenery on the way, using a combination of mountain bikes and safari vehicles. This is a unique way to experience the wilds of North-Western Namibia, and the famous desert-adapted elephant and black rhino can be seen en-route, whilst the wonders of Damaraland captivate cyclists and hikers alike. There is a real sense of achievement from pedaling one's way through this vast, changing landscapes, the rewarding and relaxing day's end culminating in a refreshing sundowner in the cool desert air.

1. A support vehicle will accompany the cyclist's at all times. The advantage of back-up vehicles means that if the biking gets a bit tough on a particular stage, then climb into the safari vehicle and continue the final kilometers by road
2. A wide variety of people can join these tours, providing there is a reasonable level of fitness
3. There is no age limit, just a desire to see Namibia and burn some calories
4. The tour is not a race. On any cycle stage of the safari, the faster cyclists can go ahead whilst the slower one's go at their own comfortable pace
